Had a great time up in the mountains last weekend; perfect weather, and got badly sunburned. I found a few very pretty sapphires, posting photos of them below. The nicest– the bluish-violet one which is also in the second pic (sorry the photo is not more clear)– is one of the most lovely stones I’ve seen uncut. I plan to take it to the lapidary to see what can be done with it.
